Tuesday August 23, 2007 (Day 7)
Cairns Tropical Zoo
The Cairns Tropical Zoo on the Captain Cook Highway at Palm Cove is where we enjoyed a great
wildlife presentation including Queensland´s only Red Pandas, the fabulous Free Flight Bird show,
plus there was an opportunity to ´cuddle a Koala´. They also presented the best reptile displays
and a great snake show. There where also kangaroos, cassowaries, dingoes, and alligators.
In the mean time I had managed to pick up a cold and decided to skip the afternoon plans of
visiting Hartley´s crocodile Adventures and quickly feel asleep. Diana in the mean time did
those things which need to be done to make the try flow smoothly. By late evening I was feeling
much better.
